Mamoud Sheikh Kamara, EdenInfra (EI) Co-Founder and Partner responsible for Country Operations and ensures that EI’s delivery model continues to meet the needs of client countries. Mamoud Kamara also builds support and mobilizes financial resources across the international community for efforts to assist low and middle-income countries in Africa. He brings deep experience in regional operations and finance, drawing on his experience serving as Representative of the Bank in select West and Central African Countries in the Regional Hub of Abuja, Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), with tenures in the Operations and Country Programs Complex overseeing a portfolio of projects and technical assistance exceeding US$5 billion. Prior to that, he has accomplished in providing strategic leadership in driving the design, and execution of the business orientation for the IsDB Group in several countries I and Asia including Iran and Commonwealth of Independent States with projects worth more than US$3 billion. With a wide-ranging experience at both Federal and State level in the USA and the World Bank position him to benefit both the public and private sectors to define investment programs for local benefit and global good. He holds a PhD in Development Economics from Howard University in Washington DC.
